Ana Luísa Ramos: Solaris

Music from Ana Luísa Ramos always gets my attention.

The Brazilian-born musician who’s been calling St. John’s home, creates beautiful soundscapes that are melodic, affecting and relatable. Solaris, her latest effort continues that trend. It’s a fantastic collection united by a single theme — love.

“Love. Simply love. Endless Love,” Ramos writes on her website.

It’s got to be about a love of music too; I don’t think anyone who didn’t love making could emote so clearly and connect so fully.

It’s an album worth hearing.

Check it out now.
