Already Gone by Quote The Raven
I’ve been listening to ‘Already Gone’ by folk-country duo Quote The Raven for a few months now. It’s a great song delivered with beautiful vocals. That’s no surprise; beautiful vocals are the duos calling card.
QTR delivered a special treat the week — a music video for the song. It expands nicely on the themes of the song, most notably the messy, often difficult, ending of a relationship.
It’s reinvigorated my interest in the song and made me think about it in new ways. I find myself wondering about the song’s ending — both lyrically and musically. There’s a shift in tone that I hadn’t really considered before...
