Justin Fancy’s Beauty Queen

There’s really only one way I like my country music, and that’s unapologetic.

Justin Fancy’s Beauty Queen fits the bill — it is unapologetically country in sound and country in content too. It is essentially a ‘my partner was unfaithful’ song, but instead of venturing into ‘my dog ran away and my truck broke down’ territory, Fancy gets defiant. The song paints him as determined to rise above the past and, when he sings “You don’t know what you did to me,” it’s hard not join in. It’s that catchy and fun.

Check it out.
