Cereal Milk: Minefields

March is one of the best times of year around these parts. Not because of the weather, certainly, but because the local music recorded in February’s RPM challenge emerge.

Hot of the digital presses is a new RPM release by Cereal Milk (aka Jordan Shears). The eponymous collection was teased a couple of weeks ago with the release of Minefields - it’s a fantastic slice of indie pop. And I’ve been listening to it. A lot. I’m going to have to make room for more listening though because i’m loving the new album.

Not only does it have Minefields, it features a total of 10 tracks that maintain the same infectious Minefields-style indie pop vibe. The new tracks flesh out the experience with interesting instrumentals and dreamy pop soundscapes, that make-you-wanna-sing-along.

It’s fun. It’s infectious. It’s a great way to kick-off the 2022 RPM listening season.

Check it out Cereal Milk on Bandcamp.
