Brad Tuck: The Lights in Port de Grave

Regrettably, visiting Port de Grave to see the lighted fishing boats remains on my bucket list. I rarely make it that far east at Christmastime.

Regardless, I appreciate the nostalgic sentiment expressed by Brad Tuck in his 2020 Christmas single The Lights in Port de Grave. The song is about taking the opportunity to find some peace of mind at Christmas— something worth doing, whether you’re a commutable distance from Port de Grave or not.

Check it out.

Newfoundland Christmas Music

Stay tuned for more great Newfoundland Christmas music.

I'm a big fan of traditional Christmas music, I love to hear a modern rendition of a 300 year old carol but, occasionally, a brand new song comes to my attention and dominates my Christmas listening.

Newfoundland's musicians have been holding their own in both regards. I’ll be sharing a song a day from now until Christmas in a NFLD Music Advent Calendar.
