Pete: Goodnight

The nights are long and the evenings are getting too cold. If there was ever a time to contemplate pulling the covers up to your chin, this might be it. It’s a season for sleepy days… and Pete’s got us covered.

The St. John’s-based artist’s Songs for Theo is an album of lullabies inspired by his niece. It’s a wonderful collection, full of soft sounds and warm thoughts. And while it’s being marketed as children’s music — there’s plenty here for everyone.

I’m currently listening to Goodnight on repeat. It’s a song that reminds that the best things, night or day, are the times spent together. Definitely worth checking out.

You can find Songs for Theo in all the usual places.

You can also check out Goodnight and a bunch of other great music on the Newfoundland mixtape.

Who you’re in non-lullaby mode, check out an alt-pop sounding Pete in With Violet — he’s a member.
