RASA: Do You Hear What I Hear?

Do You Hear What I Hear? is one of those songs that feels like it should be old, but it really isn't. It was written in 1962 (as an appeal for peace during the Cuban Missile Crisis).

I always liked this song when I was a kid. I'm not sure why it resonated really but, if there’s any time my nostalgic streak comes out it’s Christmas, I still listen to it now.

My current favourite version is by RASA and it's available on Avondale Music's Homebrew Christmas.

Check it out above or hear it, and a bunch of other cool Christmas songs from Newfoundland artists on the 2020 Newfoundland Christmas Playlist.
